Frequently Asked Questions
Q: When do the courses take place?
California Compliance School (CCS) holds our Hazardous Waste Generator course throughout the State of California once a month, year-round. Check out our course calendar to see when CCS will be in your area. We are currently serving Sacramento, San Jose,
Clovis, Bakersfield, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and Imperial County (dependant on demand).
Q: What time does the class start?
All of the 2- and 3-Day Hazardous Waste Generator courses start at 8AM and go until 5PM except on the third day at which the class ends at 2PM.
Q: Who qualifies for our scholarship?
If you are an agency, county,
or state employee working in hazardous waste code enforcement or have responsibility
for oversight of the hazardous waste control laws, you may qualify for a state
scholarship. Our scholarships cover tuition ONLY. Travel expenses are still up
to you/your agency. If you have any questions regarding scholarships, please
contact us.
Q: What do you teach?
Currently, we only teach the Hazardous Waste
Generator course on a regular basis. However, if you would like on-site
training, we will come to your facility to make it cost effective for all of
your hazardous waste handlers. Please
contact us for more specific information, as new courses are in development
stages (e.g. DOT Certification, HAZWOPER Certification, Vehicle Service Repair,
E-Waste, etc.).
Q: How much does the Hazardous Waste Generator course cost?
The course costs are listed under
Course Information. Please note that if you register more than one person for a class, you are eligible for a discount. If you would like a quote for a specialized on-site class please
contact us for more information.
Q: Why are California Compliance School courses different from us reading
the regulations?
California Compliance School uses the group learning method that empowers
you to actually feel comfortable in using what you learned. You get
to keep the resource books that simplify general requirements.
